Too Much To Think About

Morals, rules, guidelines, where have they gone?
Where’s the line? What do I base truth upon?
He says it’s right she says it’s wrong.
They say I believed a lie all along.
Is anyone sure they’re right for sure?
It used to be clear, now it’s a blur.
How do I know what I know is true?
What’s true for me isn’t true for you?
If this is true, and I’m not sure of that,
What do I live my life by, what’s my format?
If there is no truth I can’t keep on living,
There’d be no reason for Him to have been giving.
This is where relativism splatters.
Now I know only one thing matters:
Truth was and is and will always be.
Now I know truth’s not that hard to see.

Amazing. It made me laugh a little. Truth is uncertain. I like your message here. Thanks for the read.
