Winter Storm

Cold again.
Not the blizzard outside, but my heart.
The storm inside me fierce,
fighting what I feel.
What I want to feel,
your lips against mine
to take me from my endless winter,
to a paradise
in your eyes.
Come make the sun shine.
Before the snow gets deeper
and the sky goes dark,
bring your stability and warmth
to this frozen landscape of my soul.

I was not a big fan of the densely packed beginning, but you cleared it up very nicely towards the end, especially the two eloquent last lines. Nice use of external milieu to reflect internal ones.
