A family,
torn apart by fate.
A couple,
saves them before it's too late.
Their hearts
tell them it's right.
They have to show this child the light.
God gives them
the wisdom to help him grow,
the compassion
to help his parents know.
Their hearts
are filled with love.
They fulfill
their purpose set by God above.
They are angels
sent to us for care,
to let us know
God really is up there.
Their kindness
always a happy memory
of just how kind
the world can sometimes be.
Their friendship
never to be taken for granted.
They held us in love
while in anger we ranted.
In time
we realized they were good.
We hadn't dared to love them
but realized we now could.
We embraced these
angels of the heart...
Realizing that, in our hearts,
they had truly made their mark.
