Remaining the same

I thought you meant it
because you said it all before
and when we know we should have stopped
you only begged for more;
and every feeling in my gut says I should quit
and everyone tells me the same but I
just can't kick it;
And if I told you I needed help
would you stay by my side
or would you laugh in my face, call me weak
turn around and thats goodbye.

Because the sun never shines on
this side of town
so if you ended it all tonight
I would still come around.

Because this morning I woke up
and I wasn't who I wanted to be.
I got so down about things
I thought of suicide it was crazy.
Ten minutes after that I
was excited about the
possibility of change,
two seconds after that I was back,
just remaining the same.

The sun never shines on
this side of town
so if I ended it all tonight
would you still come around?
