Beaten and broken, battered and crushed.

Bones have been shattered the body is mush.

Aches and pains, sorrow and strife.

These things I go through everyday of my life.

Why you may ask, do I always continue.

This is my way, things I love to do.

I do not stay silent, but I do not complain.

I will always be here, always remain.

You can tear me down, I can take a punch.

But you must always remember I will get back up.

I continue to fight, it is my way.

And I will always be ready come what may.
