Los Endos
See the man, with his desperately brittle charmed smiles,
his witty and clever words tossed out, like broken glass scattered,
Occasionally bright lit and stunning, yet running
one step ahead of his internal demons nipping at his heels with
razor sharp teeth as they demand his sober resolutions~
His flashes of brilliance and beauty dimmed by his premature,
rudely violent coming of age, his lust for the sensual, seductive
twilight he can purchase for precious dollars on the dimly lit corner~
See the sad little boy, in that man aged flesh, his once
lovely and charming smile so dimmed by his chemical demons,
and his self induced despair , his heart breaks and he pines for
nostalgic days gone by and dreams of tomorrows that will never be,
as he looks directly thru that which he yearns for, never seeing
what is there, juicy, so ripe for the picking, mentally grasping,
clutching at that which has eluded him so long as he walks past her,
his only need, his aching sole desire, so set in stone,
so unreachable, cold blue steel, his hunger filled sight always and
forever blinded to that which lies directly in front of him,
his narcotic purple hazed view of a world passing him by,
it will eternally cloud his senses, dim his bright lights,
and he will look to the past and cry out in his despair,
When he sees that the skeletons he’s left in his wake
are the loved ones that he had left there, in his own self
destruction, his loves and his passions burnt up by his back
alley sins, his realizations of crimes committed against his
own humanity and he knows that there is no redemption and
That this is truly,
so tragically and forever…The End.
