Judgement Day
Men,
Their hearts burning with Anger,
Deceit, and base treachery,
All goodness gone,
Trampled beneath the hooves of Ambition,
Where do their futures lie?
Upon that fateful day,
Called to account for a life lived,
What answer will they give?
Speechless, cast into the infernos of Hell,
There to lie in torment forever,
Regret sets in, when place for none exists.
Hurtling towards an uncertain doom,
Change now, or repent forever.
But how erase the weight of a thousand years,
How lay down the chains of a sinner's past?
Solace lies in turning to the infinite,
Pray, and God's will shall be done.
