Craven.

He was drinking on an empty brain

Suicide had crossed his mind

Measure the world in spare change

And cigarette allotments of time

We used to listen to crass

And get wasted on meth

Mentally challenged

When he called me collect.

But then we got lost

Both him and I went left

He found the beauty of the Bible

A new heart in his chest.

He’s a Christian punk now

Got a brand new disease

But you can be saved without

A cult religion, hate breeds.

Wow, I love the last stanza, and the 'cigarette allotments of time'. You're a really good writer, It's partly because what I've read so far have been things that have been a part of my life, but your style is remarkable, it's edgy without lacking intelligence and grace like most writers that try to be edgy. E-Mail me when you write something new, I don't want to miss it.
