Elizabeth I
Voices surround me. Do they realise
inside I am screaming. For
what good will it do to tell
me, once again, I am without a
Husband? Or and heir to rule my
Kingdom. I am married to my
England. My breast feeds the
children of the nation. Peasents.
Once again, I must scream at
them no, or I shall have you
hung. the noose awaits
you. Go forth and hang.
Wait for your judgement.
Then there was Mary,
my sweet cousin Mary who so
betrayed me for hr own
selfish appeitite. Not a day
since her execution have
I not laughed. At her.
At everyone. For I am
Queen of my realm. May
you all bow down to
me, your Queen, your
Elizabeth, your virgin.
