Morning awakening
Another long evening without rest,
Brings early morning.
The sun peeking an eye into the blue sky,
Producing the most beautiful hues.
The birds beginning their song,
Beautiful or ugly,
Depends on the ear taking it in.
Absorbing all around you
Becomes the easiest of tasks
When you’re alone.
The thoughts streaming
Lead to a peaceful blanket,
Covering you with your solitude.
All is not quite as empty as it seems,
For in the silence
There is a calm embrace.
