A Long Way From Home

Isn't funny when you wish for a change and it presents itself in the most unusual way. When "a long way from home", sounds like a tune that you've listened to on the radio during an endless work day. You know you're a long way from home when you enter a world and the rules are ever so different. When the parties involved are no longer in your control but you play the pawn and find yourself useless. At times when you're unsure and you look to the past for encouragement and confidence. But you soon find your footing and grasp all that's there and continue the adventure no matter.

When it's a long way from home, it's scary for sure but it's never the life of the boring. To find your way once again in a world where the ruts were so deep, life became deploring. There are new things to see and new people to meet and the world continues it's turning. But the chance that I have with this long way from home is the chance that I had been seeking.

Wonderfully written! I can relate to this! It reminds me of my first day of middle school! That was probably the biggest transition of my life. I felt like I was in unknown territory, a long way from home, elementary school life. Through time, I adapted and managed to get through it all. Very good, you should be proud!
