Maybe "Hero, noble soldier, serving without question, we/I await your return. Come home brave soul." would be more solid grammatically?

That really hits a note today even if it is timeless. Don't we all want their return.

It's a timely piece and I can't really suggest any improvements other than the placing of the punctuation.
I would have made the first 'sentence' start and end thus: "Hero - Noble ... your return."
And then used the last four words as a seperate sentence with a comma after home.

Does that make sense?
