The precision of a noose
gives exactitude to sadness.
What before was vague
now has a razor’s edge.
A noose alone is flaccid
I could not wield a noose against you
but its correct use
rafter and rickety stool
no doubts
nothing left for imagining
Noose suicide, noose execution
never a noose fight.
precisely a sad ending
Though I longed for the knife or the gun
to leave you wondering about my final breath
(What bizarre thing lead to this violent fall?)
