Never-ending seminar
Time stands still,
The noise grows slowly,
I dream of home,
My patience runs out
I can’t sit still,
Words don’t interest me,
Existence is pain,
And I just want to shout
God is a question on everyone’s lips,
Searching a reason for having to wait
Yellowing walls are trying to calm me
But closing blue eyes are proving it’s late
The teacher’s still talking,
Our ears start to hurt us,
Everyone’s tired,
Everyone bored
My colleague is drawing,
He’s seeing me yawning:
“Just five more minutes”
I’m getting assured…
