Never-ending seminar

Time stands still,
The noise grows slowly,
I dream of home,
My patience runs out
I can’t sit still,
Words don’t interest me,
Existence is pain,
And I just want to shout

God is a question on everyone’s lips,
Searching a reason for having to wait
Yellowing walls are trying to calm me
But closing blue eyes are proving it’s late

The teacher’s still talking,
Our ears start to hurt us,
Everyone’s tired,
Everyone bored
My colleague is drawing,
He’s seeing me yawning:
“Just five more minutes”
I’m getting assured…

Been there a plenty.

I think you could add a bit more impact by dropping the "me, us" in the few lines it's in.

Like here:

"Words don’t interest me" - to "Words don't interest"

Takes me back to sitting bored and anxious in a lecture hall. Just watching the clock and counting the minutes. Nice job expressing that experience. Maybe "reassured" would work better at the end.
