Gazing in Wonder

Gazing in wonder
Holding you tight
A short embrace
Helps to pass the night

Looking at your face
You smile at me
No one else smiles
Like that which I see

Your heart, amazing
Your beauty, Wow!
I do love you
Would you ask me how?

I would tell you how
Look at your face
How could I not?
You're so full of grace

You're full of great warmth
Your heart is pure
I see your soul
I have found my cure

A very simple but effective poem. The sentments come across almost in a childlike way in its innocence. Well done :)

Simon, I liked the focus of this poem. Unlike other poems of this genre your poem didn't come across as too intense. --Robert
