He's being an idiot.
He's being stupid.
I hope that he will rot.
Okay, that might be too much.
He doesn't listen to the advice he asks for.
He just doesn't seem to learn.
I won't do this any more.
He has to get advice from someone else.
I won't help him again.
He's got to do it on his own.
I hope he doesn't feel much pain.
But, this is how he's chosen to learn.
