A Month Full of Days
The months are weeks, which are filled with days;
That describes one another, with personalities and ways.
January is filled with ice and snow;
But the yellow snow is a big no-no.
February is filled with hugs and kisses;
Especially for the ones you’re really missing.
March is filled with green leaf clovers;
For the luck of the Irish to come on over
April a month, with a day just for fools;
But the constant showers can often ruin your mood.
In May, the sun shines bright.
The grass turns green, the flowers bloom;
And little spring critters come out looking for a bite.
June is when we get out of school;
A time for family cookouts and dips in the pool!
July is when fireworks illuminate the night sky;
When kids are in awe and keep their heads high.
August the month when there’s intense heat.
Lotion down with your sunscreen;
And go swimming at the beach.
September means back to school again;
And regrets that summer vacation had to come to an end.
October is a month for tricks and treats.
Outside the world changes colors;
Magnificent golds, oranges, and burgundies.
November the month for Thanksgiving feasts.
A time for family recipes; turkeys, pies, and potatoes that are sweet.
December is a month full of Christmas giving;
Where children wait anxiously to receive the things, which they’ve been wishing.
Hooray for the days and the months we have in a year!
One just left and another one's here!
