I am but human! Living in a spirit driven world
For what I do see is only a reflection of what I do not
There's a war going on and not the one in Iraq... but
evil is it's plot
The war is over my soul and yours too! And if we have
good in our hearts eventually it'll win through
In my life the enemy has given a big fight... for it
knows what I was put here to do
Trials and struggles are the weapons formed against me
Prayer and faith are the shields that no ammo can get
through
I've lost some battles and also won a few
But how many I've lost doesn't matter
For I see victory in clear view
The scars and bruises of previous battles, I'm allowing
them to heal
The victory of future battles, give a joy that no one
can steal
I vision a future quite different from the past
I vision a future that requires a strive that will last
I am more than a conqueror! The head and not the tail
My enemy knows that it has a good fight at hand
As for myself, I know that all is well
Giving up is not an option and being puffed up with
pride I'll never do
If I just keep my ears open for direction I know which
path to pursue
