Math Homework - Alien's challenge 11

Sorry, my girl was "doing" her homework while I was writing this... guess life is expressed in poetry.
________

Frustrated, she sits,
her math book open to page
four hundred, lesson
seventy seven. She hates
math. Doodles, scribbles,
shapes and swirls decorating
the page instead of
numbers. Answers elude her.
“This sucks,” she’s too smart for this.

Ha, using poetry to express math, I like it. I like the contrast between the strict numbers "...page/four hundred, lesson/seventy seven" and the appearance of loose and care-free doodles. Takes us from one world to another within a few words.

happy writings.

I like this a lot, too. Sometimes, just writing what you see in front of you is a good way to get a poem to work :)

Great fun - but oh, I love math! Couldn't you have made it biology? Guess that wouldn't have scanned so well...
