Encased
by a weather gray
and damp
quietly surrounding me
My nose
pressed up against
a window winter cold
echoes of you
linger as
warm desires
unfold
I shiver
my skin stung
and bruised
with orchid kisses
birthed in
a sultry night
I count the hours
as white flowers
fall from the sky
briefly kissing
the ground ...
time slowly
moves on
I hear the sound
of an excruciating
reminder
tick tock ...
tick tock ...
Silvered mercury
trickling from
dampened green
whisper soft
murmurs asking
loves known
but unseen
when
will I
see you
again.....?

Just lovely! I grew up in a very snowy place, and I think you've captured the melancholy of a winters day extremely well. The contrast between that and the heat of remembered passion is very tangible. Made me smile :)
