Unsure

Unsure, I speak these words
"Does he care?"
"Does he truly know how I feel?"
I contemplate.....

my feelings express themselves through tears,
naked as a new born child.
a thousand tears, a million questions,
i voice....

Heart ripped asunder by the ripples of a lie,
those words uttered by him,"I like you"

Love truly makes one blind to the truth,
unable to see the adultery committed, or the tales told
by this storyteller.

But still, my heart, body, and soul, yearns for his touch, like a million raindrops upon my skin
a flood of requests....

with each plea calling out your name in every language in and every voice
