Global Warming
As the world burns in hellish fire,
The oceans cry and the poles perspire
With the foul fumes that are civilization borne
Drowning all existence in their tears
The melting white lends itself to the swelling blue
The worst of fears is closer to coming true!
Any harm we invest is bound to multiply
Leaving our home cold, wet and dead
Nature is less forgiving than our assumption
And there stands no mother, as powerful as her
Let us sooth the burning before
The waves reach the shore
Leaving the world to wither and die
That’s why they say: “do as you would be done by”!
