Alien Challenge #11: Naga Uta
When Darkness Descends
Algid nights are worst
When one is very much alone.
To see ghostly breath
Bulging from your heaving lungs,
To alert one’s ears
Towards anonymous screams,
To quicken your step
From the demonic monsters
Creeping up behind,
About to snatch you away.
Your pavid heartbeats
Fill the world with witchs’ laughter.
Dubiosity reigns.
But the barricade from fear
Home supplies, allays the soul.

Hi Chana..
To alert one’s ears
Towards anonymous screams,
//really good..
Fill the world with witchs’ laughter.
Dubiosity reigns.
But the barricade from fear
Home supplies, allays the soul.
//i find depth in these lines, i swam around in them for a while.
Home supplies, allays the soul.
//love the word choice here.. supplies is powerful and vast.
algid is a lovely word, i did have to look it up though.
chilly, or another simple syn, wouldnt be horrible.
nice work..
thanks for entering it.
