on the inside

i'm somewhere in between misery and hapiness
they're each pulling me seperate ways
ripping me apart slowly
i've caused a war over myself
though the last thing i want to be
is the cause of world war three
no one knows about this silent war
no one
except me
no one knows i'm at war with myself
though i know i've got to fight
i wanna put these internal weapons back where they belong
up on the shelf
put them under lock and key
swallow the words
that battle for control
inside me
