Let Go

Listen to the whisper
let it trickle through your ears,
through your heart

beaconing in seas,
on the wind,
through the trees

Let it consume you
take hold
drift away

Hear your heart beat
grasp the secret
the silver sweetness of nothing-
SILENCE

It is a comfort to read this poem. Well done. Best wishes.

Very peaceful, lulling, your words beckon the reader to simply relax. It's effective. I was surprised at the capitalisation of 'silence' at the end, kind of contradicting the meaning of the word, but in a good way that's intended.

I like this poem. I love the senses it creates and uses. I like the fact that I can read this poem, and I can hear a whisper, I can picture the wind blowing a tree.
