very intriguing piece. The first line is what did me in I love that first line. I also loved, "I teach blind circuits, I preach" fantastical ... indeed.

Sorry, I didn't get the Paris Hilton thing right away either- I don't know why I didn't at least get the name and I think it was through my own deficiencies and not anything in the way you wrote it. I can't give my opinion content-wise, since i try to steer clear of entertainment news (why should I waste my life finding out about how others waste theirs). However, there is a good beat and flow to the poem that comes out of the word choice.

Aargh. Drew a blank! I'm wallowing in pre-caffeine Thunderpen mode. I clocked Paris Hilton - I've heard of her, but know none of the details, other that she's famous for being rich and daft. To an ignoramus such as myself this reads as a lovely lilting, teasing cryptic crossword clue. Am going to down a bottle of red and come back later...

Tight wonderment encapsulated!
'spread stained wings'
Sad and true
The hemlock line is so revealing
I like the Gnostic reference as well
A literalist damsel crashes... Shame on us really
