The Cure

If u aint from the hood ur chance to fulfill ya dream is good

You grateful for errthing...sayin thank you and please at least u should

U been in the dark for waayy too long so turn to repentance

When u finally in too deep u start beggin for forgiveness

I follow my dreams but my nightmares hold on relentlessly

I try to escape my destiny and yesterdays restrictin me

Cuz the past is history the future is still a mystery

Today is kinda a gift but sometimes it still gets to me

How can it a present for me if im living in sorrow?

Will it get better? I guess there will be a hint for me tomorrow.

Beg...borrow...steal...maybe even kill

Cuz this world i was born into was full of sin and is still

The main reason for haters...slow progress and segragation

Slavery...prejudice...drug dealing and depravation

Homicide...suicide...runnaways love and depressions

Keep buildin up for the next day for even slower progression

This young'n got a suggestion keep doin what soothes the spirit

Stop listenin to the music but hear the love in the lyrics
