Another Soul Gone

Heartbroke and numb,
this is what I feel.
Pieces of us laughing,
walking, standing still.
Shocked and breathless,
nothing seems too real.
I see you in my head,
only feeling scattered chills.
Sad creeping in,
Anger following fast.
You're not in our future,
You're only in our past.
I blame so many
but no one's to blame.
I don't want to accept this;
I have to all the same.
Sweet smiles and blushing,
when I stood so near.
Another soul gone,
from our existence here.
