Dreams on a long, cold nairobi night
I do not know what it is i am drowning in,
Fish me out before its too late.
Heart pounding,
Sweat raining,
And darkness all around to mask the crime unfolding.
Victim that i am,
awaiting impending slaughter,
unyielding to the faceless relentless masters of my alien thoughts.

| Thanks for the comment frank. I don't quite understand the "drowning into" bit. Is it a grammatical or stylistic issue? |

| Nice work. I like its directness, which though simple, yet did not betray its rich stock of imagery. But I want u to look at the first line again. I think it should read "drowning into" |
