Freak

I’ll be the one
Lacking definite form and limits
A multitude of colors
Never plain green or blue

Me, twisted up
Rather than you
Even if I don’t’ get there
In time
For the backyard barbeque

I’m better to remain here
Always in movement
Always alive
Than to go far and
Land in the middle
Of muck
With you going nowhere

nice images and words. I had to read it a few times, maybe I'm just tired, so sorry. It reminded of a story which was about how everyone is actually abnormal and the only normal person is the truly insane.

This is a very nice poem and has great imagery. I especially liked these lines:

"A multitude of colors/ Never plain green or blue/ Me, twisted up/ Rather than you"
