Why Writing Poetry is Like Building a House

I prefer writing
Where no one can see it
So I don’t fell exposed
And judged

Its like a house being built
You don’t want people inside
Until its finished

between the catepillar and the butterfly is a coccoon. while in coccoon phase the living entity is very much vulnerable, yet very much in the reality that is life. nobody really registers that though when in their own reality, if it would happen to get eaten while coccooning it would die and you could blame the actions of death towards the coccoon phase or the monster with the teeth. the coccoon phase was not the problem, there was no problem, its just certain things zig other things zag and next thing you know you're a coccoon up in a possums mouth.
i just think the coccoon shouldn't over internalize the death to the point of feeling ashamed because of circumstance she/he couldn't control. it had to do what it had to do, coccoon, it was a true and sincere motivation, butterfly. anything that happens along the way...
