the story of meredith sloan

killst me first and livest in fear
for thou i shall haunt with all
which from the deep can gather

if no trace but in thy mind exempted,
of I to survive oblivion
then be it in thy thoughts to reap
the cancer of my skill

thinkst not thou unafraid
until in darkest moments
thou standest vainly proud
and I full invisible thou recognizeth

until thy sickly twitches fallen
thou joinest me in immobility

thyself the gun and
thyself the wound
