The end has finally come...

the end has finally come

I’ve walked this road before
Can read its every thought
But somehow it is without end.
My prison and my path seem
Twisted somehow
In Fate’s devouring little game.
These holes were once my eyes
But traded them did I for something less
Oh, so meaningless.
What have I done to wander
Aimlessly, so blind and pitiful?
Grace, come my way,
And Mercy slip past
For I don’t know how long
I can walk before
Time slowly takes me away.
