There’s a word
for the little bit of plastic at the end of shoelaces,
but I forget
and have never
used it so then did that man
who sat for days thinking
of the perfect
syllables to stitch together, who
annoying and persistently asked his wife what she thought
do so in waste?

Interesting little poem, you have here. I'm guessing an "aglet" is the name of the thing on the end of the shoe lace? Sometimes I wonder about little things like that too.
One thing about your poem: I think annoying should actually be "annoyingly."
