Mission Reduction

A Poem by Identitycrisis

Unencumbered by reality
harboring silly notions
Realized transparency
by random stumbling
Irreversible logical oddity?
Even alien nations

Often failing to express
in a palatable fashion
Such ridiculous statements
Illogical focus for opinion stagnation
A pride issue?
No God can save you

So prideful keeps oppression
from feeling resistance
Truth, hopeful denial
keeps course, ignore the dying
Begging salvation's arrival
while police become soldiers

Not noticing weather
skies filled with heavy metals
Absorption, propaganda, disease
frustrated by design
of arrogant bastards
There's just too many, 7 billion?

Politicians pressing issues
regulate to secure positions
prepare for impending disaster
Such policies and procedures
keep state and nationality
breathing (badly)

Too late to digress?
Trampled upon constitution
Unimaginable devastation, lies
slavery solution
Compulsory mandates will leave
no more than 500 million

There's a lot going on in this poem and so much that I feel I can't touch on 80% of it. It seems like you're trying to get a lot out here and not really exploring any of the issues to the fullest that they deserve. Maybe this could be broken up into a small series of poems that each deal with one aspect of this umbrella.
