REMEMBERING

One day I will wake up somewhere else
With someone else’s smile on my face
New memories will flood my brain
New life will take its course
I will not remember anything
That happened before

But then when I close my eyes again
I will remember this place
And that I have walked it once before

I will remember you and everything you have thought me
And I will start again
With pride in my heart
Heart of a lion
