SOMETIMES

Sometimes I wish I could dance with you grandma
I wish you could take me away from this evil place
Sometimes it is too much to take
Sometimes I cannot fight anymore
Sometimes I want to give up
Sometimes I cannot stop crying
Sometimes I want to go far away
For you to hold me in your arms above clouds
Where it is warm and kind
Where no one can hurt me again
Sometimes I feel like that little girl again
That needs you to caress her hair
That needs you to stand up for her
Coz she’s too little, she can’t
Sometimes skies are not blue but gray
Sometimes sun is cold and gives me shivers
Sometimes my tears are bitter and make me choke
Sometimes I want to close my eyes
And float away in the universe
Sometimes I fall and I cannot get up
Sometimes it feels like you left me all over again
But only sometimes…coz you always come back for me
