Dying Day

Today feels like a dying day
A day where I just fade away
And fly up to the world above
and Say Goodbye to those I love

I have suffered greatly
I want to suffer no more
I want to be at peace
And be away from all of the injustice and grief

And so, as this moment ends
They'll say my last words are,
"Goodbye, my friends!"
As I take death's hand....

Today feels like a dying day
A day where I just fade away
And my one last moment has passed me by
And so my soul begins to fly.

I like this one a lot, with just one suggestion. In this part

They'll say my last words are,
"Goodbye, my friends!"

I think you should change the are to were since your talking in past tense.
Overall I liked this one.

I really like it, it's so powerful and not overly simple.
