On Love

We are all slaves of love. We kill for it, we lie for it, we'd even die for it...but what does it really teach us? In the end, are we not left at its losing end? Or have we really won?

It maims us to the point of desperation. It subjects us to the extremities of humiliation, dragging our pride through the mud over and over again until we have no dignity left...
Yet,
we still submit to it. For to do so would be to experience the best that life has to offer. No matter how much pain we suffer, or how many tears we've cried, we will endure all...for Love.

I really like how the one reader set this up in poetic form. If you do this, I would omit all end-line punctuation, because afterall, the line-breaks are the pauses. Your writing is lovely, and original. Most of the talent seems to come from the Philippeans.

so true, so true! I have been broken by it, twisted by it, used up, bruised up, left behind by it. But, on the other hand, different kinds of love have lifted me, healed me , strengthened me, and carried me. I truly enjoyed your writing. I look forward to reading more of your work. Good luck in all you do and God Bless.

We are all slaves to Love indeed. Only when true love is found, is it then we have won.

Nice blog that raises a lot of questions and answers them honestly, because everyone I know would endure whatever they had to for true love.
