Come now my love

our dance is done

to music we made as one

and now through memories

our dance

will be

to the music

of eternity


So close the book

and end the tears

give me the warm hand of flesh and blood

For we danced so well upon the shore

along the chancing changing edge

we burnt bright and best

and so we shone


Don't think that I cast you away

to a dark and forgotten place

you know my heart

always will embrace

our time

But grant me now

to love and be loved again

grant me the freedom

release my soul

from this tythe of pain


To gather you up in words

to take your images

to remove your last mortal things

breaks the bones of me within

Yet I take life as your gift of love

And with that you must away

our time is run
