4 Small Poems...

A rubber band,
stretches, bends.
Snaps!
A stressed me,
stretches, bends.
Snaps!

***

Memorize who I am,
for I won't forever be this way.
Remember this person now,
when you look back at yesterday.
Remember me when I'm gone.
Remember me this way.

***

Lock on my soul,
Lock on my heart.
Now, maybe you,
Won't rip me apart.

***

Open door,
Closed door.
Pushed through,
Pushed back.
Let in,
Let out.
Keep here,
Keep there.

Which to choose?
Let you in or keep you out?
Either way, I could lose.

Listen to my heart; my head, I doubt.
