Departure

“Death – The Devil – Gloria Mundi,” the tarot reader told Jack as she turned over the three cards.

Jack, standing at the Pearly Gates, complained bitterly to St. Peter: “How was I to know that jerk would change his mind about where he was going, come down my favourite alleyway, land a lucky punch on my chin, and I’d end here?”

Thank you for the comment - BTW, the Gloria Mundi would be inverted/reversed, to signify a negation of triumph...

Hey, Peter--cool. But I doubt a serial killer would be standing at the Pearly Gates, maybe the other ones. Just an idea. What if you changed the order of the Tarot cards for him? – "Gloria Mundi - Death – The Devil” and make him work the gas grill or something. LOL Just a thought. J
