A view of paradise

The clacking ducks break the peace
the sun breaks the dawn and cracks the invisible shell
of the day
The fog dances freely on the water
the air holds its breath still as the lifeless

A portal ,A paradise envisioned
As he cracks the ground with his solid foot steps
his lungs fill up the still air
A view of paradise

This is beautiful imagery. We have "envisioned paradise," on our early morning excursions to the lake-fishing. Thanks, for reminding me to stop & take in all the glory.

I love the images this poem brings to mind. The fog dancing on the water and the "air holding it's breath."

I imagine encountering a secluded lake in the wilderness at that perfect hour of daybreak. Beautiful work. There's an almost dream-like quality to it.

Sounds like the perfect place in the world to me! Beautiful! Who wouldn't want their day to start in such an environment ... dreamy!
