Thoughts From Life's Departure Lounge (Departures - Wee #33)
The 'Arrivals' area: eternally busy coping with all the newbies.
The 'Waiting' room: crammed full of a wild cacophony of human life, all dealing with living’s intricate problems in their own truly unique way.
I sat quietly in the 'Departures' lounge, waiting for my journey out of here - hopefully, into a kind and forgiving oblivion.
One could dream.

A wee piece of philosophy, eh, Grae?
One niggle: 'truly unique'. Unique is unique is unique - you can't qualify it - so no very, quite, truly etc.
Sorry for nagging - it's (yet another) of my wee pet hates (yes, I hate too many things).
Thanks for the read.
Cheers

| another nice one. I gave the character a cynincal British accent...Richard Attenborough perhaps. I enjoy the last line. |

| Interesting take. Only thing I noticed is 'Arrivals' has single quotes while "Waiting" and "Departure Lounge" have double quotes. Should be consistent which ever one you choose. I'm glad that I have higher hopes than oblivion. Thanks for sharing. J |

We're all waiting for that "forgiving oblivion"-and don't have to be at a station or airport to seek it.
Great observation. |

I love the unique take on this and the abstract idea of the partitions in life. You broke the fluidity of it, and that is a very cool take.
Thanks Grae. |

"Meagre Portions"
Offering a small glimpse of some of the words that informal grae - Graeme Sandford - has cobbled together over the years in an attempt to become rich and famous through his writing. Sadly, he is poor and unknown (largely due to his writing).
So, what are you waiting for?
