Tired

Extra-Terrestrial
No terrain,
Dull dry Place
Call it my brain.

Fermentation up North
That’s how it feels
Smokey white strings
That’s what it feels.

My eyes, stinging
Lower and lower
They’re oblivious coal mines
Burn in the fire's swoon

Coarse thumbs, I love
all over lids and grind
sand into that mirror of you.

Its 4:58 AM as I post this. I'm also tired, and should be somniating (is that a word?)

Sleepyheads everywhere should relate. Good job.

a humorous begging to the piece I think, unique and well told, would have actually liked it to be a bit longer, since it ends just when I'm really getting into it. that said, however, another nice piece.
