Abraham, central character is unable to control his moods and enters either a manic high or depressive low unless he is kissing. Abraham is unable to maintain a relationship because he is so depressively low whenever he is away from the woman that he is seeing, only feeling good about them when they are together.

I think that in some ways manic depression is perhaps a little like autism - that someone may have the capacity to think clearly on some levels and appear to have a great talent and on others lack the normal abilities that most may take for granted. This is only a comparison, they're very different as disorders - thanks for the suggestion. I should have done more work on this before posting but I like the idea a lot.
The title is very clever, not too sure about the plot, I think maybe the central character could have autisim or something, that would make more of an issue, just a suggestion.
