Look around you, what do you see
Is it all like it seems
Or is there a hidden agenda to it all
It took us years to figure out
What goes on behind those smiles
You always give us
It took us lifetime to see
Your face behind the glass mask
What is happening to us all
We were blind before
Naivity such weakness but such beauty
Our vision blurred, sailing in fantasy
But its over now, truth is bitter
Reality slapped us in the face
Dreams have come to an end
Wisdom makes one sad not happier
Purity long gone
Why do all beautiful things have to end
Can’t we live on forever in our dreams
Where everything is like it seems
Where fun goes on for eternity
Wake me up when its all over
