You were the one I depended on
to take my mind to another place.
A place where everything was magical, soothing...
...where contentment lives.

You made my spirits soar....
You made the wind hit me like a door.
You made me listen to the wind
And to what every sound said.
You took away the sadness
And gave me a way to escape
The everyday jolt of depressed reality.

You made my heart feel a deep sense of freedom...
...And you never complained, nor talked back.
You loved me unconditionally....
...You made me feel so alive!

Everytime my thighs were wrapped around you
I felt as though we were one.
The beating of our hearts pounding as one.
Nostrils flaring as we're soaring through the wind...
...Escaping the pain that tortures my mind
and rips my heart to pieces.

You took away the pain...made my heart whole
Each time I looked into your big, beautiful eyes.
They sparkled with kindness and much love.
Gently stroking your soft velvet nose.
YOUR SMELL....I miss your wonderful smell,
Your excitement when I fed you sweet feed...
...and apples...and especially cookies.

I miss you so much, my beautiful Pacer.
You were much more than just a horse.
YOU WERE THE BEST...
...BUT MOST OF ALL, YOU WERE MY FRIEND!
