I Wonder
My neck is strained
muscles tense,
from staring up at you on your pedestal.
Do you ever get cold,
from walking with the stars?
I know should I ever stumble
you will reach down and loan me your wings.
A moment in time,
too brief to be noted within your myth,
allowed me to swim in your orbit.
And there I found the man behind the legend.
just a man,
no hero without a cause,
no god thrown from the heavens,
just a man
searching for completeness.
And there you found me,
the girl behind the name.
Just a girl, who needed your strenght
to believe in a care-full future.
Quietly, you retreat
to conquer cloudy skies.
Long gone, forgotten never.
My mind has become ur dwelling.
Will we meet again?
Who knows?
