Rejection Letter

I open the rejection letter
in hope it will get better
while I gave out heart and soul
that in of itself does not consul
for I waited just too long
and yet I still did it wrong
but I can still go on
and I must still go on

I open the rejection letter
in hope it will get better
I gave them a story so true
and yet somehow I knew
so I sink back into my work
and hope that up I shall jerk
but I can still go on
and I must still go on

I open the rejection letter
in hope it will get better
rejection betters us all
so to live up to a matter so tall
I guess it is better this way
so I'll be better on that day
so I can still go on
and I must still go on

1st stanza still says "all will" sorry to be a pedant; just didnt know if you had meant it.

There seemed something wrong with it. Thank you. Done.

I like the idea of this piece that in order to grow we must first suffer "rejection" . I do however feel that some of the language is a little misplaced and perhaps disrupts the flow of the piece
e.g.
"and hope it will all get better" could perhaps be changed for "in the hope it will get better"
just little things like that like dropping the occasional word from lines to keep the shape.
Lke i say though; purely opinion and a really great idea for a piece.
